I'm bailing on the UH game

Anyone else going to bail on the Houston game now? It's not worth a two and a half hour drive from Austin. I'm going to try to throw my two tickets up on Stub Hub.

I think a decent number of people bailed on the UH game two weeks ago after the massacre at Tulsa.

I will accept your tickets as I am still going. Life goes on. And it's gameday.

I am bailing on it for two reasons...

First and foremost, we are going to get our asses kicked...

Second and more esoteric...Houston needs to win and go undefeated and have a chance at a BCS bowl...If a mediocre SMU team sitting at 6-4 beat them, that would be a crime against C-USA, Houston, and HOPEFULLY, our new Big East conference mate.

I hope Houston wins, so I cannot go to that game in good confidence....I will be watching the VH-1 Behind the Music special on Soul Train during the game....I been dying to know how it ends...

Save yourselves the trip down, go to a bar, drink heavily while watching the game, and pray the rules change to golf, the person with lowest score wins.

You are a bad fan, and a sorry individual. I want you to post if we beat Houston. You may not like the coach, but to hope your team loses is as sorry as it gets. And your are not funny. Add sone exclamation marks on your next posts. Sad sack.

I sure will Bud....it is in the best interests of SMU to lose to Houston, it helps out C-USA and our future home in the Big East if Houston goes to a BCS Bowl.

If it makes you feel any better, I will be cheering for SMU, and I will be sure to post when they win...

I dare you. Not sure I have ever seen you post after a win. It is never in our best interest to lose. You continue in your sorriness.

Wow,

I am honored that you keep such close track of my posting habits...didn't know you were such a fan.

A loss is sometimes a win. I didn't even start this thread, but the merit is there...SMU would be far greater served by having Houston go to a BCS bowl as we both shuffle off to the Big East...

But, since you are a fanboy of me and apparently hang on my every word....I will retract my statement.....

SMU WILL BEAT HOUSTON!

I do not give a flip about you or your exclamation point threads. I could have looked at your post history, but that would be more work than you deserve. When you say you hope we lose, you have said more about yourself than I have to. If you never post again, that will be fine with me, though I am sure we will get an exclamation point thread fire June jones thread next week.

I as mad at our results as anybody, but will never hope we lose - ever.

I posted my tickets on Stub Hub for $65 each tonight and sold them immediately. Wish I charged more. But I actually made a profit off SMU tickets. Thanks, Run and Shoot offense.

Winning in Houston (against a Top 10 UH) and then beating Rice at home is the way to go.

I hope my alma mater doesn't pull a Boise State, but I was sure cheering for a come from behind win today for SMU.

SMU will have to play it's best game of the year to win at Houston...but who knows? Stranger things have happened. Coogs clearly have a shot at BCS this year. I just hope we are competitive as we've been whipped soundly by 2 of the top 3 teams in CUSA this year
