Hawaii needs two more wins to be bowl eligible.

Remaining games = Fresno, Tulane, BYU.

Musing out loud...If Hawaii does not go to the Hawaii bowl, does SMU still go?

I think we still go, Hawaii Bowl has 2nd pick and we would have more interest to the locals than any other C-USA team. Our opponent is anyone's guess with the WAC in danger of not filling it's allotment.

Since Sheraton Waikiki appears to be fully booked-shouldn't we just call this off? We're going for Hawaii experience I'm pretty sure-so I don't think it will change much. I just hope its a decent matchup otherwise I'll probably call it off

You want ME to stay in a 3 star Hotel-that's what camping out in College Station is for. No I'm just kidding-there's a bunch of places I'd stay. Its just my usual place in Honolulu

Figured you were looking to only stay at a Starwood hotel (loyalty programs?)

Moana Surfrider is a cool place to stay

So does the WAC spot become an at-large spot if it can't be filled? Or does a designated conference act as the fill-in?

In 2008 the game was supposed to be WAC-Pac-10, the Pac-10 couldn't fill it's allotment so the bid became an at-large and Notre Dame was invited.
