Need to win at least one more game. We do and we can have a decent bowl. Nothing wrong with any of the choices but I would really prefer we have a solid winning record.

There are currently just four bowl eligible CUSA teams.
The other teams wanting to become bowl eligible only have four wins right now.
More likely CUSA doesn't fill all spots than us missing out on a bowl at six wins.

1 more win isn't going to change our bowl prospects. We'll end up in either the Hawaii Bowl (most likely), the Armed Forces Bowl or the Ticket City Bowl.

It has been said that if Hawaii cannot play in the Hawaii bowl, we will not be going to that bowl game.

Wow, if true then that's really disappointing. Going to be stuck in Dallas for another postseason, rather see them play in the AFB again in that case, at least the stadium will be full. The Cotton Bowl will be a graveyard for the Ticket City Bowl.

We don't need one more win, C-USA has 6 non Liberty Bowl tie-ins the only way we don't get a C-USA Bowl bid at 6 wins is if there are just enough or more 7 win teams that have to be placed for those bowls first. At most only 4 other teams in C-USA can finish with 7 wins at this point and one of them is a UTEP team that has to play Tulsa next. We're bowl guaranteed. C-USA is in danger of not even filling it's allotment.

Why would the players want to play in the armed forces bowl again or play in the ticket city bowl? That is not a treat for the players. I believe the players would rather play in New Orleans or the beef o'brady bowl. If they stay in dallas again it'll be a boring experience for the team. Not enough fan support to play in either bowls in dallas. So why not let the players choose a fun bowl game to play in?

Not enough fan support for the Beef O'Brady's Bowl or the New Orleans Bowl to be interested. There'll be plenty of fan support for the AFB considering BYU will be the opponent and they have a fanbase that travels well.
