Putting out an APB for …

… Former SMU tailback Reggie Dupard (38). While everyone knows about the Pony Express backfield of Eric Dickerson and Craig James, the next guy to start at running back for the Mustangs is the only guy to have three straight 1,000-yard rushing seasons at the school. That’s Dupard, still the school’s No. 2 all-time rusher, and a first-round NFL pick in 1986. Dupard got out while the getting was good, just before the Death Penalty hit the program. Anyone with information on Dupard’s whereabouts, please apprise The Das

This is what it says on Facebook:

Jon Reginald Dupard (born October 30, 1963 in New Orleans, Louisiana) is a former American football running back. He played five seasons in the National Football League. Dupard was selected 26th overall in the 1986 NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. He played for the Patriots until he was traded to the Washington Redskins midway through the 1989 NFL season. Dupard prepped at John Curtis Christian High School in River Ridge, Louisiana, and went on to play at Southern Methodist University. He was drafted one spot behind his college teammate Roderick Jones. Dupard became a Seventh-day Adventist and soon after retired from professional football because of conflict with seventh-day Sabbath. He is now currently working with Maranatha Youth Ministries (MYM) helping youth and their families.

Video Below: Reggie Dupard says he is a counselor at a high school and lives in Dallas.

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Dupard and Jeff Atkins: nice little backfield after Pony Express.
Dupard had a 99 yard TD run, if I remember correctly...
