...and assuming the big east adds SMU, I am officially nominating myself to host all of you guys in Salt Lake City when SMU comes to play! Many of you have treated me well and have been great hosts to me on my trips back to Dallas (born in raised in Dallas but been living in SLC for the last 8 years) to see the Ponies play. Now it's time to return the favor.

This includes but is not limited to:

gameday tailgating
ski/snowboard trips before or after (weather permitting); there are about 12 ski resorts within 40 minutes of the Salt Lake City airport
BYU campus/city tours to the extent anyone is interested in seeing the lay of the land

Looking forward to having you guys/gals visit!

Thanks for the invite. I will take you up on offer. Will there be snow this early into fall?

I have already been up twice in the last 2 weeks. There have been storms the last two weekends and some of the resorts have already opened up (Brighton, Snowbird and the Canyons).

If the games are scheduled in late October or anytime in November, there is a good chance to hit the slopes.

Paying off your home mortgage
taking your wife on an "all she can spend of my money" shopping trip.
Looking forward to having you guys/gals visit!

I made a couple of additions I am sure we inadvertently left out.

I can't go visit unfortunately. That part of the country is controlled by my brother Ced. He's the master jedi of the west region. We're not allowed to travel into each other's territory without permission. It is a very generous offer and much appreciated!
