He goes to UH, doubt if he showers.

score 21 points.

Odd to say SMU is 6-0 when they've scored 21 or more since the least SMU has scored in a win is 28 and the most they've scored in a loss is 17. Couldn't he also say SMU is 6-0 when they score at least 18? I'd at least say SMU is 6-0 when scoring 28 or more.

Using the same logic, you could say UH is 10-0 when they haven't been shutout. Or you could say UH is 10-0 when scoring 35 or more since that's the least we've scored.

Wouldn't he get another year or two of eligibility for that?

If we can't put 21 on Houston we have more serious offensive problems than we thought. UCLA dropped 34, Rice dropped 33, and UTEP got 42. Doesn't seem hard.

We put up 7 on Tulsa (2nd lowest opponent total) and 3 on Southern Miss (lowest opponent total). Not putting up 21 on Houston wouldn't be the least bit surprising. Our offensive problems are as bad as it gets for a pass heavy offense (inaccurate, immobile QB, weak offensive line, no impact receivers).

Score more points than UH?

On the Ponyfans Tom Mason interview, he said the key was getting 3-4 turnovers to slow the UH offense down. If 3-4 turnovers are required just to slow a team down, there's going to be trouble. 3-4 turnovers should almost guarantee a victory unless you commit the same amount.

We do fairly well -2 or -3 in turnovers. We do it pretty regularly.

We do need to create several turnovers but don't have the impact defenders to create them, Mason can't do anything schematically to cover that up. Our defense has trouble with any offense showing signs of competence and statistically Houston has the most competent offense in the nation. Besides even if we did force some turnovers the offense would just give them right back.
