You are a little too kind to the offense.

I mostly agree with those grades, but I believe you could easily argue the defense to an A/A- given the offense's performance or rather lack there of.

JJ McD for Heisman????

Not when the defense gives up 37 points...anemic offense, definitely a D- or an F.

i would have given the special teams an A bc of return yardage, clever spot pass - but mononucleosis took its toll

defense was almost a- they played very well and earned a lot of respect

offense was awful - pick 6 touchbacks just hAVE TO STOP

On a positive note I started looking at some indivuals perform rather than the units as a whole and am shocked by some of the positive efforts....and some negatives although I attribute most of the negativity to coaching on the offenside side, particularly the "man", Morrison and the wr coach. Poor effort and performance reflects directly on those guys. I started watching #93, Davis, a few weeks ago because he was getting some penalties for some late hits, etc on special teams and wanted to see some of his shenanigans but have come away so impressed with his effort! that guy can run! Look at the replay of the UH runfor a td right before halftime and he outran our dbs and linebackers trying to run down the rb although their wasn't a chance he would catch him. This from a defensive lineman. What a raw talent. We need more effort guys like him rather than loafers playing because their coach recruited the other guys out of high schol and it makes em look bad when the walkons are better than guys they recruited! If you play the guys who work the hardest you will have different results coach and so much more fun

It's really hard to not get at least a D at SMU.

Believe when the team takes a bus, the offense needs to be put on a seperate bus. Short in length and yellow.
