Or our other epic QB battles like Eckert vs. Romo or Wallis vs. Bartel or Bartel vs. Phillips or any of the other bottom feeders we've had leading this team.

No debate. Padron isn't available. JJ McD is the man. Beasley will run the Feral Mustang on the goal-line as we have such an anemic Red Zone O now. Other than that, I don't see Jones throwing a Fr or redshirt Fr to the wolves this late in the season.

JJ may not have a choice. If KP has to have surgery it is possible he might not be available for the first of next season.
GO PONIES!!!

Can we have a Wild Mustang Debate
I think Jeremy Johnson would be much better than Cole Beasley as the Wild Mustang-guy was incredible in high school. One of the very best option QBs in the State plus he can throw. I have no illusions June Jones will change his offense-that would admit he is not a God-but Johnson would shake it up a bit in the red zone. I'd let him throw out of it as he had a very high completion rate in HS.

KP > JJ (always)
However, wouldnt mind seeing new QB at work.
Just anyone other than McDermott.

Here we go...again!
There is only one subspecies of wild horses, Przewalski's Horse (Equus ferus przewalskii) found on the steppes of central Asia, specifically China and Mongolia.
Feral horses such as the Mustang in the United States, the Brumby in Australia, and many others are untamed members of the domestic horse subspecies (Equus ferus caballus), and should not be confused with the truly "wild" horse subspecies.
So we can't have the "Wild Mustang" formation. We could have the "Wild Przewalski's Horse" formation. Be since there is only one wild subspecies, the use of 'Wild' would be redundant. So we could just call it the Przewalski's Horse formation.
And Aaron Davis is the man to run the Przewalski's Horse formation down on the goal-line.

Given our QB situation maybe we should stick him in full time and, as Ron Meyer said, "make the call to move to an option offense"

OK- since ponyte has a problem with calling this formation the 'wild mustang' and in view of our offensive production recently maybe we should just call it the 'gentle gelding' formation.
GO PONIES!!!

You and I both know you can't wait to correct some blow hard TCU grad at the next cocktail party. He will be making some disparaging crack about the our Mustangs and how the TCU Wild Wart formation is killer and how we could use a wild mustang formation. Then
boom, Stallion slaps him back to UH 7-11 mode.
You know you can't wait.

I was shocked that when June first broke out the Wildcat that it wasn't Jeremy Johnson running it since there were some reports that he was running it some practices last year.
