Maybe they totaled the number seen in each TV shot. Thanks to all that weathered the weather.

When the front blew through in the middle of the first quarter, that pretty much caused a good number to bail at the half.
So cheers to those of us who hung in there.
Attendance was about what I expected. Don't play crappy in the last month and maybe more people show up.

Laken Litman
June Jones on poor crowd at #SMU senior day: "It's disappointing...You'd certainly like to send off this group of kids with more people."

Amen to that. Tough to sell a game against a poor opponent on a holiday weekend when you have lost 4 of 5. I was surprised that rice brought as many as they did.

Oh, well, June. Maybe if you were as loyal to SMU as your players were and did a better job of being a front man for the program (which you aren't), maybe more people would embrace this program.
You get what you give you Diva!

A frigging Blue Norther blew threw, people! Those who remained were rabid fans, screaming on every play...

I posted in another thread that I couldn't make it today; regardless it doesn't look like anywhere near 14k. Oh well, at least the good guys won.

The real joke was the Golden Bozos thinking they were going to beat Cougar High.

Attendance numbers are pathetic. Much respect for those who went! I'll be going to the bowl game (I live in Cali) and am working on becoming a season ticket holder (would really like to get a box in the next couple of years).

When the wind picked it got a bit cold so I am glad it did not go to OT. I agree the fans that stayed were loud and into the game!

that pic appears to be taken at halftime or before the game started which is never flattering. the West stands were not terrible if you consider all the bodies in the boxes. Opponent matters alot, as does weather, but it sure seems our crowd fizzles in November, especially after Nov 15. People seem to prefer 100 degrees to 50-55 degrees. I remember thinking we had a nice turnout for NW State in early September. Unfortunately with McD and the offense being painful to watch doesnt help. My son and his buddies who are even SMU fans keep saying how boring the team is. Who would have thought we would say that with June Jones. The offense really is hard to watch lately. KP and Zach would make a big difference, the fans are now numb to JJMcD. Todays bad interceptions hardly even drew a groan or any surprise at all.
