Can anyone explain to me what happened in the second quarter, when we were called for a hold on a DJ3 reception and it seems that first down wasn't replayed? If I remember correctly DJ3 picked up something like 20-25 yds and the hold happened during the run down field, wouldnt't the penalty be enforced from the spot of the foul and we would replay the down or get a first down from the result fo the play? About par for the cousre for these refs today, they really sucked.

seemed like it may have been the case. I wasn't paying close attention. JJ was in discussion with the refs, but nothing changed.

the line judge put up the 2 down page..june failed to do anything until 4th down was raised,then the complaint was made....but to those around me,it was noticed immediately....i think the line judge made at least one other down error....and the ball placement toward the end was wrong....they started their next play before june objected...at least that is what i think i saw...

I'd be interested to know what the TV analysts said about it. Anybody dvr the game?

It won't be the first or the last time that June doesn't notice mistakes like this until too late.....he is only focused on what he calls for the offense and no other coaches communicate with him during the game. He has headphones on but after listening to Monday lunches, its apparent that Morrison doesn't interject with June as he is just listening to what June does during the game. June needs an offensive coordinator, but he won't allow that. Its a control thing.
