Cheer for the Shallowater Mustangs!

They beat Snyder in the Class 3A Region I championship game and are in the state semifinals.
Even better: Their fight song is Peruna and they have state of Texas Flag with the big Mustang where the star would be.
Aledo's game in Midland was right after theirs. And when I heard Peruna, I started singing our lines. For a small 3A band, they did a pretty good job with it.

Shallowater is near Lubbock I believe. But you can go find them on maxpreps.

Why I got confused.
Sweetwater Texas just west of Abilene are also the Mustangs. Their fight song is Peruna. Just like SMU they have more than one fight song. Here are the words from their web site for their other fight song. Just put these words to melody of Pony Battle.
Sweetwater High School Fight Song:

Shallowater is a bedroom community just west of Lubbock.
