He was sick, then he was healthy, then he was sick again … and now apparently he’s fine just in time to take a Cadillac job in his home state at a school he grew up revering.
What wonderful timing.
What really made Meyer sick at Florida? I have some guesses.

Bring it on Brutus. This is actually good for the Big Ten because ESPN is in love with him we need some good publicity. I mean between Tattoo U and the Sandusky thing.... boy it don't feel too good to be a B1G backer right now.

He'll have Hoke burning the midnight oil just trying to keep up. Next few yrs are going to interesting games between the Bucks and Blue.

Alls I know Red is it was GREAT to actually see something resembling the Michigan/Ohio game. Your kids showed up and fought. Besides Urban Meyer is the guy behind the proverbial 8 ball right now. It's great for the Big Ten and the sport. We're waiting, bring it on it's only 363 days to The Game you know.

MnB- yea, good game. The Bucks just didn't have the horses to win this one. Oh well, losing one out of the last 8 isn't too bad. Looking forward to next year.

Meyer's six-year deal is worth $4 million annually. He will receive private jet privileges and a country club membership according to the LA Times tonight.

Meyer should of looked at SMU. We would be a stress free job, which he was having issues at florida. All he would have to do here is get us to bowl game. When he goes to OSU he has to get them to BCS bowls. Hes what we need to go from mediocre 7-5 team to 10+ win team. I realize we can afford him but maybe after JJ and getting BE money we can offer him.
