http://www.bigeastcoastbias.com/2011/11 ... the-big-12If Louisville is truely telling recruits that they are Big 12 bound, then we Have to get BYU back to the table to get this thing hammered out. We need some "good" news to come out about the Big East to help our reputation.

I know it sounds a little pessimistic, but if old BE members start dropping then I say back out of it. Heck go independent, CUSA blows and a hollow BE sucks as much. At least if we schedule with Big 12 and other AQ conferences, we can look good that way.

I would much prefer USM to either ECU or Memphis. Memphis has no commitment to FB and would be a terrible addition. Besides, there may be more NCAA investigations into their bball program that could really cripple them. UAB would probably have as much of a market as ECU.
GO PONIES!!!

Big East losing 3 of it's top bball programs in Pitt, Cuse & Mountaineers. Add Louisville to that list and it's time to think about Memphis for bball reasons alone...not to mention keeping the Liberty Bowl ties

Just add more programs from the MWC, CUSA and even possibly a top program from the MAC. If more old BE members leave then the conference could become even stronger in fball.
GO PONIES!!!

No I know, I just feel that the BE is known for Basketball, and it could collapse with old members leaving. I heard that basketball members arent happy with the football only focus. Adding Memphis would be great, just unfortunately not in the west for Boise.
