Um, should coaches be making public statements about the Big East before it's official?

Should he be recruiting since June has apparently already taken a job too! LOL

I appreciate that he is still doing his job. As of right now he is still at SMU, and should be recruiting like he is. That said, who knows what he is actually telling the recruits.

Louisville coaches have been telling their recruits they're going to the Big TXII.

You really think this was just a rumor? Really. If you have Rivals or Scout that doesn't stand up.

nah, just stirring things up a bit.

i've said since i first heard this that it was public b/c he wanted to use it as leverage to gain something (debate all day what that is).

as quiet as things usually go down with final coaching decisions, especially w/ junes, this was way too public for him.

As was Maryland last year....in which he got laughed off Maryland's campus
