An apology is warranted, but it will never happen.

A firm commitment and an end to this nonsense is a realistic alternative that I would be satisfied with. We can't play the June Jones game every December. It is not sustainable.

This is a sign that we have a great coach in place at SMU. The June Jones game is proof. Now build the man his IPF.

We have a great coach that no one wants or is willing to pay more than we do or give as much as we do...

we have a coach (and staff) that are at least on the radar of other major programs needing a coach...thinking it was back in Ron Meyer days as the last time this happened.

Never much fun when someone comes calling to try and attract what is 'yours'...the flip side is you have something of value, which IS better than a 6-6 finish with "ALL OUT".

June Jones owes SMU (or the fan base, such as it is) no apology. What he DOES owe us is a better offensive output than the last two years. Hopefully the BBVC M.O.U.S.E. or whatever we are in bowl game will be a start.

I have no problem having a coach that is desired( which JJ is not), No problem with him leaving or interviewing ect. I hate the manner in which it was done...

If this happened in any of your careers you would be furious...not sure why we dont feel the same...

Go tell W we have to stop construction on his library, cause Here's priorities come first. We have the money, there is only do much construction the campus can handle at any one time

This isn't some random guy posting on your internet girlfriend's MySpace page. This is college football. Guess what, you win some games, go to a few bowls, and the big time programs come calling. Sorry June couldn't consult you before meeting with the ASU folks. Grow some thick skin and deal with it. I literally can't believe the overly emotional stupidity around here. Hey but I'm sure Adrian Klemm is ready to be our HC. Oh wait, like someone else mentioned this morning, his unit underperformed worse than any on the team given their experience this season. Hmmmm...
