Poinsettia Bowl

ran into some TCU buddies at MiCo last night all purpled up. walked over and said 'have fun at the Poinsettia bowl'. they all chirped up about the Sugar and how they were going to a BCS game again.
they get LaTech.
http://www.sadtrombone.comBBVA Compass v. Pitt sounds pretty respectable (even if pitt is 6-6) compared to Poinsettia v. LaTech.

might be time to start a new killerfrogs account and do a little trolling. too bad they lost to SMU. they would have gone to sugar for sure.

Actually the Boise got a good deal. The Las Vegas Bowl took Boise over TCU even though TCU won the MWC and Las Vegas is supposed to take the winner. I would rather play ASU than La Tech. TCU got screwed

Can anyone explain to me why the frogs thought they had a shot at a BCS bowl?
Last time I checked, being in a non-AQ conference, having 2 losses (one of which was to an unranked team), a final ranking in the high teens, and being behind another non-AQ school in the rankings is not a recipe for getting into a BCS bowl.
