I just like the way he told us to shove it and had his meeting with ASU in Dallas on the Saturday of our biggest recruiting week end in over 25 years. He obviously thought he had the ASU job, but didn't care whether he was hurting SMU with the timing. Could of waited, but now ASU has told JJ to shove it.... He will be trying to rebuild his image here. However, trust here will be hard to rebuild anytime soon.

it will be easy just win. or land a top 40 recruiting class - that would work also.

Win, keeping getting the great recruits, get ipf and other items he wants done, and then he can bolt as we will be in a far better position for a new coach

He can win, he can recruit and he can put us in a better position for the future. However, it is doubtful many of us will have much trust in him in the future. I will do all I can to support my university. However, trusting JJ is a totally different issue.

My family of 5 Alumni will not be trusting JJ anytime this decade.

Here is SMU's and ASU's recruiting class ranking for 2012:

Arizona State 21 0 1 15 2.81
Southern Methodist 20 0 1 16 2.90
Looks like ASU would get a comparable class to SMU. Not sure why they are so upset. It's not like they would start getting 5 stars beating down their door with another coach...
