So there's a small event here tomorrow night where they try to whip up some money. It's a cocktail party at the Princeton Club and the Mob Boss and Coach attend and give some speeches and do a Q&A. Ford family folks and endowment peeps are there too.

How about some reasonable ideas for ?'s for the guys?

Ask SO when SMU will be getting the SMU version of the USC Song Girls. Watch him giggle and turn bright red.

Is there a history to that? Wonder if he'll match his jacket. We should have that though.

Ask them how do they expect the alumni and friends to be committed to SMU after the recruiting brouhaha this weekend, and 4 hour meetings of the head coach with ASU, ; his plans to take the recruits to his new digs also needs an answer.

They want our money without out giving a strong commitment to finishing the job they have left unfinished.

On a serious note, I'd simply ask how they plan to increase attendance for the next few years. Is here a concrete plan or do they think winning will cure everything.

Do you think he would answer this, and if so, speculate on how:

"Coach Jones, how do you justify meeting with representatives from ASU during the biggest recruiting weekend of the year, and as a follow up, do you think doing so was acting in the best interest of the University and next year's recruiting class?"

Ha! Now I wonder if he's even going to show up tomorrow. Kind of a tough way to ask for people to donate money.

Next question- where is coach jones? why isn't he here or is he in AZ.?
