Klemm is likely the main assistant recruiting for ASU from our campus....obviously the rest of them just sit around roasting pigs and drinking fruity drinks with umbrellas.

I just want to see June wear that black sweat suit in Tempe when it's 110 desert style. Can you imagine June showing up in AZ with Maybell and putting the Devil mascot on one of Madeleine's horses.

I thought we all want Klemm to stay since he has a great outpost in Cali?

Sounds to me like there was an opportunity at ASU and he checked it out. If an ASU equivalent in my industry has an opening, I'm going to explore that, too. Doesn't mean I want out, just that I want to explore the best opportunities for me, for my family, etc.

I hope beyond hope that June and Klemm stay. Shoving a coach out the door is only better if you replace him with someone better, and unless Eric Dickerson has another June Jones up his sleeve, I have no reason to believe there's a better coach out there that we can get. June and his staff are the best thing to happen to SMU football since it returned in 1989. It's amazing how many people forget the 20 or so years when the word "bowl" wasn't even said around SMU.

It's going to be a dark day whenever Jones leaves -- just hope it isn't this year.

Oh no, there is no arguing that. I have always been a JJ and Co. supporter and still am. I support the postion Cox Mustang Fan said awhile back that its just business, and hes making sure there arent better opportunities for his family and himself. Or that hes using this to help get Asst coaches paid. But there are few things that get under my skin with him. He complains too much about fan base when he was brought in to make exciting games, great seasons, and provide a marketable team. He gave us a half-ass one this season, which had it went through all the way, we would of have had big time fans next season (beating TCU, should of beat navy and houston and tulsa and played USM for champs). Thenn he goes an whines that nobody showed up on Thanksgiving break. He whines about our school restriction, but little does he know that this is his job. We expected him to show emotion and go out and change the attitude around campus. Go out and voice his opinion of the school culture and what needs to be change. Not have a hotel dinner and talk to alumni, but actually go to the flag pole set up shop, and convince students, faculty (especially) that we need this. He needs to go to all the media outlets and give them a story to write about.

SMU Alumni 11.... Well said....how much did he promote the university by wearing brown members only jackets and black shirts everytime he appeared on TV.
