Post from ASU rivals writer few moments ago:
I want to make this clear, I'm not reporting this yet but it's increasingly looking like June Jones is going to be the coach at ASU barring some unforeseen intervention. I think we will know in the next hour or so.
On Tuesday, a source told us that June Jones pulled his staff off the road and left New York (where Lisa Love also was yesterday) and asked that they assemble for a meeting at 10 a.m., the nature of which was not fully disclosed. It was cloaked as a recruiting meeting, but coaches literally had to cancel plans to visit kids on the road in order to return early to Dallas.
No ASU source as yet is telling us this is going to happen, but the most logical outcome of this meeting is easy to infer. Coaches do not do this in the normal course of business.
People here will not like this but I'd put the KOM at 90 percent on June Jones right now.
