There are plenty of damn good up and coming coordinators out there.
If you were going to hire a guy that's been recently fired why not Tressel? Though he'd never come here.

Well, if ASU fans say that JJ and Dennis Erickson are so similar why not just trade coaches? We might be able to get away with paying him $500,000 since ASU owes him his buyout money!

Proven? Who are you going to get that is proven?
Sherman and his near .500 record at A&M counts as proven?
The proven coaches we will be looking at will be at schools that we consider beneath us. Not saying that is a bad move just saying I don't want a freakin' retread that just got fired from their previous job for not performing.
Oh, and June wasn't a retread. Hawaii didn't fire him.

I brought this name up in another thread, and I actually would be very happy if Sherman was our next coach.
