The source said Arizona State's explanation was that "it took too long" and the school president was moving on.
"We had accepted the deal," the source said. "I've never seen anything like this."

We have a staff member who came from ASU last year. Hiring freezes, salary reductions, back stabbing to save jobs, serious morale issues. The buy out would have caused an insurrection, so ASU continues its recent history of being a poisonous environment that can't get out of it's own way. June, count your blessings....
