Correct Me If I Am Wrong

But when June was hired didn't he say he was not interested in most jobs, and prayed about it and believed SMU was where he was supposed to go. And that he has a plan for SMU that he wont share and wont leave until it is completed? Also that Duke would be the only other school he was interested in? Am I crazy for thinking he said that stuff back when we hired him? Did I imagine that?
