I am one of the few true pony fans that did not trash June Jones yesterday as rumors flew around about him dashing off to ASU. Thank you very much once again, Coach June Jones for not only turning around our football program, but for keeping your word and finishing your awesome career here on the hilltop of SMU.

Go Ponies~

I'm with you. I'm fine if he stays. I trust in Orsini if June leaves for another opportunity. He's done a lot for the program, and I can look past the drama.

I thought it was reported that he was offered and accepted the job at ASU before it was retracked. I wouldn't call that loyalty. And why doesn't he wear red and blue instead of black and a Hawaiian lei?

Are we sure about this? At 11 p.m. EST on College Football Live on ESPN, Joe Schad reported that JJ was definitely going to ASU and it would be announced today. The ticker on the bottom said the offer had been retracted earlier. So, quite frankly I was looking this morning to see what was what. Perhaps CFL was recorded earlier in the day and so the news was incorrect, but it seemed timely in that they were saying the Sumlin now had an offer from A&M.
