Let's get talk on this board about beating Pitt. We are heading to our third straight bowl game and we will have a winning season. This is progress. If we play our game and limit the turnovers (which is a big if) then we can beat this team. I'm going to the bowl game and I am very excited about the game. I look forward to partying in Birmingham with everyone. Go Mustangs!

I broke down Pitt's special teams yesterday, but no one noticed. I had to bump it every ten minutes or so just to keep it on the page.

I'm pumped for this game and can't wait for Birmingham.

The defense can slow down Pitt's offense, our chances are riding on McD. Pitt's defense is sound and aggressive, McD is going to have to have his best game of the season for us to win.

i think we have a decent shot at this one. Any chance Line can get back by then? It seems our passing has been choosing between hail marys on third down or bubbles to the sideline. Any chance we can complete a 10-20 yard across the middle post and get our quick little dudes some open field?

We obviously must limit TOs and execute in the red zone, that is where Pitt excels and SMU falls short.

No offense but we dont have the ability to pass. If we are smart, we need more running plays to take advantage of our talents and up and coming RBs. McDermott will most likely average at least 2 or 3 in this game. We need to play ball control and pray the defense can come up with some pick 6s. Im really hoping JJ takes a shot at a young QB rather than letting McDermott ruin any rep we got.

I am trusting that McD has the chance to heal and actually practice. That should get him back to early season form. Having said that, I am concerned because Pitt has the #4 (tied) sack team and McD's lack of mobility is now on tape for everyone to see.

Not going to be a ton of time for deep or intermediate routes to develop since Pitt's pass rush is pretty damn good. We'll get a couple clean shots at something long and McD can't miss. Line is done for the season.

I believe the Sheraton is where the team is staying and is the hotel listed for the SMU travel package.
