Right, technology is still not yet advanced enough for him to have released some sort of statement since he's on that long plane ride. I suppose he took the route through Honolulu from Dallas, cuz ordinarily that's like a 1.5 hr flight.

I can only speculate--But, I would not dare make any comments until I talked with Orsini. They need to have it out, get drunk and either agree to part ways or re-commit to one another. Quite frankly, there is nothing I could say that couldn't be somehow misinterpreted until I sat down and had some agreement with my boss as to what we are going to do and what Orsini will instruct me to say.

maybe. maybe he's already addressed the team (I dont know) but is waiting until his meeting with SO to release something publicly.

Maybe he's waiting for a call from the Hawaii/Kansas/UCLA AD?

i think he got kicked off the flight for playing words with friends, a la alec baldwin, then AA confiscated his phone.

they wouldnt let him bring his tiki torch on board so he missed the flight

Yes, he has talked with Orsini and I would imagine, Steve saying, you and I have a great deal to talk about, man to man face to face, on whether or not you and I can work together in the future--by the way no tweets, no interviews, no speeches to alums, boosters, friends, players or recruits until we talk it out.

June's a big boy and doesn't seem to follow "orders" from above like that. Regardless of whether that is the explanation, the guy continues to look like a [deleted] and to hurt his image the longer there is silence on his end.
