OT: TAMU offers HC job to Chris Petersen?

They offered Petersen the job. I reported it. [Came from A&M and Boise sources plus college coach and an AD not connected w either]

UCLA offered him 4m and he turned it down..he isnt going anywhere, now that he has free road to BCS games for 3 seasons...

Yesterday, Rivals message boards were saying Sumlin and Illinois were negotiating a contract. Of course, this is Rivals we're talking about.

He would be a great get for U of I...he coached at purdont and is from that area...

Nick, where's Hinsdale? I spend 3rd and 4th grade in Algonquin, IL, and my sis lives in Chicago.

19 miles west of city...
algonquin is up by barrington I think, thats a hall from the city...Nice area though....

two cousins & briefly my daughter-who lives in Crystal Lake now- went to elementary school in Algonquin

Peterson would be a Home Run-but he's had better offers and turned them down too
