He needs to drop his arrogant attitude and, somehow, get our young men ready to play (pretend it's jj lined up across from them if it motivates & helps). He needs to wear OUR school colors and get rid of those leis. Guess you could say I think he has LOTS of a-kissing to do.

We have already made him so rich until I guess he feel he does not have to totally kiss up. Just a bit for a public statement.

You make a good point. If you have 6 mil coming to you if you get fired then you don't even need to kiss up.

Offer him a deal...we give him 2.1 mil (the buyout ASU wouldn't pay) and he gets to resign in good graces.

Alternatively, offer to waive the buyout if he takes the Hawaii job

I would imagine that his recent actions might negate the possibility of getting anything in the form of a buyout if he is terminated. I also suspect that he will be watched extremely closely for any possible contractual infractions that would also give us an out in the future.

IMO- JJ is a very wealthy person through his investments. He doesn't really need more money. His coaching is just an ego trip for him.
