How does 2013 look? Is it possible that the BE will have 13 schools for a season or will Pitt, Syracuse & WVU get off the hook? I would love the three getting a release after 2012 for some $$$$ sent back to the BE.

I'm sure they pay their way out by 2013

IMO West Virginia, Pitt, and Cuse leave at the same time.

I think they will hold onto WVU for the full time: 1 to [deleted] the them off and 2 to wait and see what other interested teams there are.

They have to hold on to the as a deterrent for any more future defections.

Exactly, make it seems such a freaking hassle. With the BCS possibly getting rid of AQ or the march against BCS, it might make people less jumpy to other conferences. There is no reason to be a decent chance at conf. champ then to be a cellardweller in a better conference.

We are pushing for 2012, maybe we will be pleasantly surprised.

Gladchuk said problems surrounding scheduling, bowl affiliations and television contracts make it impossible for Navy to join the Big East in 2013. Gladchuk was hopeful those issues could be resolved in time for the Midshipmen to join the league in 2015.
