Recall this classic 2011 Jones' idea:
SMU should want to play Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl because it would help the state financially.

Return JJ. I'm OK with that. R&S Hawai'i 5-O style.
A Sun Devil that I spoke with today said that a problem for Arizona State was that JJ still had his foundation that helps Hawai'i.

Is that the foundation that they cancelled the Lettermen's golf tournament so that a new golf tournament proceeds go to JJ's foundation?
