???? Costal Carolina better step it up... i guess... he does have a large buyout to sit on. Is Liberty planning on moving to FBS?

The departing coach, Rocco, was paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $400,000, so they pay a ridiculous salary for a 1-AA school. I watched the HS state championship in their stadium last weekend, and it is a really nice stadium. Also, though students can (and have) been suspended from Liberty for being seen off campus smoking cigarettes in their car, if you are an All-American DL, you can be reinstated to the team while awaiting your court date for selling cocaine, as was evidenced this past season. LU relies heavily on FBS transfers, being given a "second chance." They take anybody, with full administrative support. He may end up liking it there.

Thankfully we can remove his name from our speculative lists of recruiting replacements for klemm.

He could recruit for us on Liberty's dime.

I wonder if his buy out was subject to a head coaching rehire-- in other words, he might even be takin this for low money to stay in coaching now bc the net net to him is the same - his buy out might be spread over several years.

And he wasn't likely to get a div1 job worth a damn this year anyway, this gives him 1-3 years of staying in the game and see what he can do and then re enter.

What he did in buffalo was amazing. Look at the record before and after.

He just wasn't fat enough for ku

KU is a death sentence for football coaches.

Going back to 1891: 38 coaches. Turner Gill is only the 6th to find another job after KU.
