Please note, as I mentioned, that the piece quotes the Big East Commissioner confirming the rumor. Unless and until he denies making the quoted comment, then this is news, regardless of the general veracity of SB nation, about which I happen to agree with you.

i'm sure some of the BB only schools are discussing it. when they see the staggering size of the NBC TV deal, they'll reconsider.
