SMU center Bryce Tennison visited with PonyFans.com as he walked off the field for the last time in a Mustang uniform, and shared his thoughts about the Ponies' 28-6 victory over Pitt in the BBVA Compass Bowl, including how the Mustangs got off to such a fast start, his thoughts on the coaching leading in to the game, and his impressions of the SMU defense.

maybe everyone should take a listen to what Bryce had to say at the end about coach Jones.

If we ever get a marketing department, the last 15 seconds of this interview would be a pretty good clip for promoting the team and coaching staff to the community for attendance and recruits.

Great job and he has good BS too! He may make a good color man on Football broadcasts later in his career. Got to hang with his family at the Bowl....his dad is a good man!

Well, I think that last 20 seconds of that interview tells you everything you need to know about what the players think of their coach.

That interview should be required watching of everyone on PonyFans.

The interview was also important for what it didn't say...not one mention of Klemm---and the performance of the offensive line in this game was the best all year.

Did some study on Klemm, he had three Super Bowl rings and only 8 starts in his entire NFL career. No question our offensive line performance this past year was disappointing, especially in terms of penalties.

Thanks to Bryce and all of the big boys up front. Good year, and terrific job protecting McDermott in OUR MOST RECENT BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP!

I also agree with ponyscott: Tennison would make an awesome broadcaster one day.
