Who would you rank at the top of the conference coming into C-USA this next year? SMU, USM, UH, Tulsa are all getting new quarterbacks, so next year seems to be up for grabs.

Our D should keep us in a lot of games if we can replace Banjo/Crawford in the secondary. O-Line worries me next year, but UH lost a ton of seniors and will be in rebuilding mode.

Hopefully we take their OC and steal some of their recruits

We should definitely be. Have to beat UH, though.

Where can I find next year's schedule? Is it firm yet?

We get mentioned at least early on. I think USM and UH have the most challenging task ahead as they both lose so many good players and change in coaches. We lose som good players as well but I feel confident that we have as good if not better players coming up.

This was the last year of Bennett recruits. Jones has improved the talent level with each class. We find out next year what Jones' system is capable of producing.

if KP is our starter, that's not really getting a 'new' QB. he's been in the system for 3 years now.

I'm going to bet the house on Garrett Gilbert starting in Waco in September. He's just too good, and this is his high school system (unlike Texas) and he'll have a much less stressful experience. Padron holds on to the ball for way too long and is extremely indecisive, doesn't really have a quick release either. I don't see him beating out Gilbert

You're right about him starting in Waco. The question is whether he'll be wearing Red & Blue.

You're way off base there.

That and I believe the Big 12 has a 2-year penalty for transferring within the conference.

Barring any changes we will face:
Baylor
SFA
Texas A&M
TCU
Houston
Rice
Tulsa
UTEP
Tulane
Southern Miss
Memphis
UCF

I think we should be able to win 8-9 games.
