We need a [deleted] contest board instead of this on our football board. Go lord, the king of derails and internet stupidity is recommending keeping the football board about SMU related football items.

Does CUSA get a little respect with our bowl record and that two CUSA teams beat AQ conference teams?

Very little, the story is that 2 C-USA teams beat 2 AQ teams that were undergoing coaching turmoil and clearly didn't want to play in their bowl games.

I fear you are correct. Still, wish we could get a little credit for winning.

I thought we went through a little turmoil ourselves but since our coach stayed, must not count.

surely you understand that bowl games are more about fan interest and support than anything else. Just look at the numbers generated by the Big 10 network and you will answer your own question about why the Big 10 (and the SEC and Big II and ACC and PAC 12 I might add) enjoy the number of bowl bids they do.
we should be pleased CUSA has the number of bids they do
