Every freshman going through IFC rush has to attend the basketball game against Rice, and most fraternities will be there too.

if the students show up and are loud and enthusiastic, it will rub off on the older folks who attend but generally do not make a lot of noise. Moody can get loud with as few as 3,000 in attendance. Sure would be a nice way to start conference play and actually give our guys a home court advantage

lol @ SMU having good attendance b/c the frats demand it. How about most undergrads stop being follower [deleted], and just support the school they attend, cause the games are generally close and entertaining. I know, not at SMU

The students should create a NEW Moody Madness for every home game!

We need the BBVA Bowl Champion Football Team to be honored at halftime. That would help draw a good crowd!!!

If I go to the game, can I go through rush and join a frat?

That's how you increase attendance ( and dues)

It's an exciting time to be part of SMU athletics. As current students, you guys should enjoy it and participate as much as you can. Our teams are competitive now and it will only get truly better if the students start to embrace the teams.
