Bo Wallace cancels visit to Longhorns

Anyone know anything about this guy?

After freshman quarterback David Ash took all the snaps for the Texas Longhorns in the Holiday Bowl, plenty of folks started to speculate about backup QB Case McCoy's future with the program. But apparently, McCoy wasn't one of them, and he took to his Twitter account to quash the rumors himself.

"I'm a dang longhorn!" McCoy wrote on Saturday night. "Cut the rumors please... Don't know what else to tell you folks!"

McCoy, who will be entering his junior year next season, could move to another program and have two years of eligibility remaining.

And while news of McCoy's decision to stay put bolsters an already-thin QB corps for Texas, it could preclude the Horns from landing the nation's top JUCO quarterback.

Bo Wallace, who was supposed to visit Texas on Saturday, backed out after learning of McCoy's decision, according to a report by HornsNation.

That means Texas will enter next season with Ash, McCoy and a pair of incoming freshman -- highly touted Connor Brewer and dual-threat option Jalen Overstreet -- on the roster.
