So, only 2,000 tv sets in Dallas were tuned in to our game? I find that hard to believe.

Hey sorry to inform us football fans but according to Mrydel's philosophy on the basketball board we only won 7 games in football this year. If you "buy" games according to her and they are not regular season games, they don't count so due to the fact we lost major money in the Pitt game and it was after the regular season we ended the year at 7-5.

Travis, a word of advice from someone who has been on PF for years.

You can criticize our school, our teams, our players, our coaches. You can criticize our Model, our posters, our facilities, our administration, our traditions and our uniforms. You can even criticize our mascots.

I would think long and hard before criticizing Mrydel.

Really not a bad rating.

Sure it is the lowest of the 2 million viewer bowls but it's still pretty much in the group with the other bowls we had a chance at going to like the Hawai`i Bowl and the Beef O Bodden Bowl.

Yes mrydel broke the gender barrier by being the first she-man to play football at SMU. Jerry LeVias broke the color barrier and mrydel broke the she-man barrier.

Go back to surfing! Just reporting what she said. Your one to talk after reading some of your posts regarding our players and coaching staff. Sorry, this is America and will report what is said. You don't like it. Tough

P.S. I don't critize any of those things you mentioned. Someone (don't care who they are) want to run their moutn without knowing the facts, they need to be told. You get back to the beach surferboy![/quote]
you are whining, not reporting.

should not surprise anyone that we are among the lowest rated bowls; early time slot with 2 teams that do not have large fan bases

at least ESPN didn't push our game to the ocho

But alas, all the recognition went to Jerry.

Surprised it didn't do as well as the armed services bowl, but I guess the mormon thing helped with the ASB, and being after New Years hurt the BBVA. The two post New Years bowls rated the lowest. Somewhat surprising, since it was the only CFootball on.
