Good choice for Rutgers if it happens. He coached there under Schiano and is familiar with the area.

Home run, did a nice job making Florida Incognito University competitive with very little to sell recruits. Had an impressive 2012 class lined up.

Good choice for Rutgers and another bad blow to Temple. Temple has been a down and out football program that was kicked out of the Big East for poor performance in the 90s. The facilities are poor and the school is in a real marginal part of Philadelphia which adds to the recruiting difficulties. They finally start to get the program turned around with Al Golden who was grabbed by Miami 2 years ago and replaced by Cristobal who has done a great job continuing what Golden started. Now they may lose another excellent coach and recruiter with signing day this week. Rutgers, on the other hand, had/has lined up possibly their best class ever and it is hanging in the balance as the wolves have really moved in on their kids with Schiano off to Tampa. Hardly seems fair sometimes when these coaches leave so late affording the school no time to hire a replacement and salvage a recruiting class.

Huh? Steve Addazio coaches at Temple, Mario Cristobal is leaving FIU to take the Rutgers job.

Didn't we lose a recruit to fiu? I hope his grandma is happy when they lose their coach and end up at the bottom of the barrel.

No we lost a recruit to FAU, they finished dead last in the Sun Belt so they're already at the bottom of the barrel. Granny definitely won't be happy when the kid is stuck living with her permanently because he won't be able to find a job that pays more than $8.00 per hour.

Total brain fart on my part. Local media has Addazio as front runner after Cristobal and that lead to my not thinking goof. Need more coffee.

Apparently Cristobal decided not to take the job and then they offered it to Kyle Flood.
