sure would love another young turk recruiter stud. Might be time to break out the wallet and steal someone else's. We have a good story. To anyone thinking bottom half of Big 12 - do you want an easy path to a BCS bowl or a hard one? 2-3 yrs of playing time or coin flip you play your senior year? Coach that has a proven pipeline to the NFL or some old high school hack?

I forgot about the signing day event on Houston today. They will probably announce any changes next week.

Does anybody believe that that report would make any difference with JJ? I think if Palcic comes on board we will see even less recruiting effort next year. You can't have just one person out 'beating the bushes' for top level recruits when your competition has 2 or 3 including a head coach who does go out on major visits. Rockin' chair recruiting isn't gonna cut it.

Word is that Palcic will not be with SMU for a few weeks. I hope he can catch up in recruiting as other coaches will have a head start in his recruiting territory.
