Three. Two for each interception and one for saving a TD.

Think the number was 1 and that was the only college I recall hearing for the entire broadcast.

I agree, my count was twice. Moore, a couple of good plays and if only he could have broken up that last long pass, he would have a ring.

Moore definitely lost a step on Manningham on that play but it was also a picture-perfect over the shoulder pass by Eli. I'm sure I'll haunt him but sometimes you get beat by a perfect pass and that's what this was. Otherwise, Sterling played almost like a shut-down corner. Not a textbook tackler, but he slapped down/stripped nearly everything thrown at him. Too bad about the 12 men on the field fumble he caused, that probably would've been the play of the game if it had counted.

I heard SMU twice.....intro was one and then, I think, when he stripped the ball out but NE had 12 people on the field.

Twice
- intro
- al michaels during the game. "the rookie out of SMU". Commented that he was having a good game. Believe it was after a tackle he made on third down to force fourth.

You are the only fan who recognized Sterling Moore for a nearly perfect game... The Patriot defense did not lose the game. The offense had too many miscue's in my opinion. Sometimes things don't work out even if you are the better team.

Always support the players, team and old grey haired coaches... they may just win the Super Bowl...
