Not sure where this comes from, or accuracy of report...just passing along. If true, all I can say is WOW!

Most important part for us and Big East:

"Rumored invitations to Louisville and BYU are on hold until Clemson and FSU decide to apply for membership or not."

This would likely cause a raid on the Big East...or a Big East raid on the ACC...pray that the Big East is the pillager.

If FSU and Clemson leave for the Big XII, I wouldn't be surprised if the ACC goes after UConn and Rutgers.

Yep, this is the main reason that FSU and Clemson would tell the Big 12 no.

They are football first schools in a BB first conference. I don't think they will be telling the Big 12 no.

BB first? Miami, Florida State, Clemson, and Georgia Tech, have about 9 national championships between them in the last 30 years. And I seriously doubt Virginia Tech or Boston College consider themselves basketball schools. Only BB schools I see are UNC, Duke, and Maryland.

No one in the ACC is going anywhere. VT just turned down the SEC last year, and they all just voted themselves into some huge exit fee.

Plus BE could easily raid acc - BE is the better football conference.
