Not surprising. Brett McMurphy was talking about this on the radio the other day. It was always part of the calculus that they could go early if their replacements were lined up. Then once a settlement was reached with WVU and the Big 12, Pitt and Syracuse would negotiate a reduced settlement to leave after a year instead of immediately.
