Good thread.

I'd go with an offensive coach. Realistically Sonny Dykes.

Unrealistically, I'd go with Bob Stoops or Bobby Petrino

Ah, Stallionsmu, you're the kind of poster we all love. You ask for a "dream" hire and when we dream, you shoot it down because we're dreaming. Makes a lot of sense!

When the day comes to hire a new coach, Dykes is the first that comes to mind. Offensive minded, good Texas recruiting ties.

Chip kelly probably only has 1-2 more years at ND if he doesn't win a BCS bowl he'd be good.

Also I think Will muschamp has to win big in the next 2 years or will be gone at florida, I'd like him as well.

As dream maybe John gruden, bill cowher, or mike leach.

Gary Patterson, if he can do for SMU what he has been able to do at TCU.

You mean having a large number of your players fail a drug test, supposedly?

I'll take someone who:

- played in college
- played in the NFL
- was head coach in college
- was head coach in the NFL
