Mustangs Kick Off Spring Practice On April 2nd
On Heels Of Third Straight Bowl Berth, Team To Hold 15 Practice Sessions Over 26 Days

DALLAS (SMU) - Following a season which saw them earn a third straight bowl berth, the SMU Mustangs will kick off spring practice on Monday, April 2, as the football team begins its preparations for the 2012 season. Head Coach June Jones and his staff will conduct 15 practice sessions over 26 days as they prep for another winning season.
While the majority of practices are closed to the public, high school coaches are invited to attend. Coaches are asked to call SMU's Director of High School Relations, Tam Hollingshead, at 214-768-1631 to arrange for field access. All weekday practices will be held at 7 a.m.
The final practice of the session will be open to the public and is slated for Saturday, April 28th. The time will be announced at a later date.
