SMU defensive lineman Aaron Davis spends plenty of time in the weight room, doing everything he can to get bigger and stronger. He recently showed that his work is paying off when he performed a jaw-droppingly heavy lift - one that sparks optimism about what his increased power will allow him to do on defense and special teams. Davis visited with PonyFans.com to discuss the lift, as well as how it will impact his performance on the field.
Enjoy!

That's unbelievable. And isn't Spike considered "small" for his position?
Very impressive.

I've always liked this guy. Has some grit to him. Cali guy. I saw the video and he probably could have done another rep or 2!

You talk about someone who has remade himself since he arrived at SMU. I wish everyone had this guy's work ethic.

Why apologize for the "honesty"? Perhaps you could apologize for being [deleted] for judging a kid by his nickname, but "honesty" doesn't seem to be the problem.
