The new hospital across from Parkland was officially named after the late and former Texas governor Bill Clements today, in honor of his $100M donation to UT Southwestern in 2009. Getting a call from the Bill Clements Payroll Department might still get a laugh.

I have a feeling we weren't so nice to the Clements post '88. We burned/abandoned at lot of bridges we shouldn't have.

Not really true. Bill continued to give to SMU (the academic side, not athletics) throughout his lifetime.
