I was reading the DMN positional series and saw nothing about Stephon Sanders. Did I miss something or did the DMN? Where is he playing or hurt this Spring? He was a beast in the Compass Bowl.

That guy is impressive. Looking for him to be a dominant player. Anybody else think we have one of the better linebacking corps in the country? Hopefully they are working hard to live up to the promise and not relying on just potential.

Linebacker U.
Wonder if Pope will be next, and beat out Cameron Rogers?

Sanders has been with the first team every day this spring, I think, and looks extremely good. Much more comfortable than when he first cracked the lineup, which is understandable...

Cameron Rogers was very unimpressive last year especially in coverage. Pope can hit, but can he cover.

With little experience last year Sanders seemed to make a big impact vs. the pass but less so vs. the run, especially options. Hope experience fixes that and he is a well rounded dominant player.

he's going to be a stud. Whether Stephen Sanders can play at a high level is about 99th on my worry list for the 2012 SMU Football Team

if pope gets a spot i think we will have a top twenty linebacker group - none of them all that dominant - but together pretty had to shake them. hope we can add a DL or two to keep up. we might turn into one of those teams that wins the toss and defers.

We won't defer as long as June is our coach regardless of how great our d is. I think Sanders is going to be the best player on d next year.
