Get our coaching staff on this one! He didn't redshirt, so he should have 3 years left after he sits out the transfer year. He says he wants to be closer to home, but it sounds like it was really just a playing time issue. Looks like he wants to go Big 12, but has Houston on his list as well.

He was pretty good. NU is loaded at RB, and he was going into the fall as No. 3 still, behind Burkhead and Abdullah. Just too many guys to split carries among the backups when Martinez and Burkhead took up nearly 400 carries between them last year.

Has Larry Brown been contacted? This is going to be so choice watching Brown run circles around June Jones and his staff in recruiting. Why can't we expect our Football Coach and his Senior citizens to make the same effort in Football recruiting with top prospects. Why does Larry Brown's staff look so different than June Jones staff?

Those that know me know my wife is a teacher at Madison HIgh School down here, and had Aaron Green in her class. He is looking to go somewhere essentially where he can play more and that is close to home, but really for him it is about playing time.

Several schools have already reached out to him, but I don't think we are one of them. He is close with Malcolm Brown but he is smart enough to know he will not get on the field at Texas. If we could somehow convince him we would get him on the field and see some playing time he would look at us.

I think he would be good as a punt runner and as a back to throw the ball to out of the backfield, but in June's system I think he wants bigger backs that block. He is still very quick and if you hit him in stride with swing pass out of backfield you would have something. But I don't thing that is our offense.

About the same size as Shawnbrey McNeal who did very well at SMU, but the R&S is designed for a bigger back (230lb+) to be able to make runs without a lead blocker and to stop a blitz.
