... Thompson won't be a guy they can hope to stash on the practice squad. People are going to take notice of his preseason production. That, combined with his upside, make him a sure bet to be on this roster when the Titans take on the Patriots in week 1.
I have said it before, but be careful with the expectations you put on Thompson. He is going to be a camp favorite this year, but the learning curve is still going to be pretty steep. Don't be discouraged when his regular season production doesn't come close to matching his preseason production.

A lot of teams are signing late-round picks before the guys taken in the higher round.
